Our Beginning

Phanasgaonkar Bandhu Jewellers is a legacy built on trust, craftsmanship, and dedication. The journey began over five decades ago when Late Shri Vishnu Sakharam Phanasgaonkar started a small jewellery shop in Elphinstone, now known as Prabhadevi, Mumbai. In the early days, every piece was handcrafted by him with precision and passion. As the business grew, skilled artisans joined him, laying the foundation for a brand known for quality and authenticity.

Carrying Forward the Legacy

After his sudden demise, his sons Sudhakar, Anil, and Sanjay Phanasgaonkar came together to carry forward his vision and formally established Phanasgaonkar Bandhu Jewellers. Over the past 50 to 60 years, the brand has earned immense trust and loyalty from customers across Mumbai. Today, the original store continues to be managed by Shri Sanjay V. Phanasgaonkar along with his son Gautam S. Phanasgaonkar and daughter Priyanka S. Phanasgaonkar, preserving the same values of honesty, quality, and strong customer relationships.

Craftsmanship & Today’s Vision

At our store, nearly 50 percent of the jewellery is still handcrafted by skilled artisans, blending traditional techniques with modern designs. Along with gold and diamond jewellery, we also offer silver items, pooja essentials, and contemporary collections including lightweight and imitation jewellery. With a strong focus on fair pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction, we continue to grow and move closer to completing 100 years of heritage.
